Welcome to Beddington Cricket Club's website, where you can keep up to date with ‘all things Beddington’. Our website aims to make it easier for you to find out all you wish to about the club. Please be mindful that our website is in the process of development, but if there is anything that you cannot find, don’t hesitate to use the ‘contact’ link and we will get back to you.
There is however no substitute for coming down to the club, set in the middle of the wonderful and historic Beddington Park. In 2013, we celebrated our 150th Anniversary, and have a rich history in Surrey Cricket. If you choose to visit us during the summer, I recommend a Thursday/Friday evening or weekend to be sure of seeing the club in action. The park and club draw cricketers and families to enjoy the facilities including a wealth of open parkland and the River Wandle.
We offer the opportunity for adults and senior colts to play competitive league cricket in the Surrey Championship and ‘social’ cricket on Sundays, there is a development side in the Surrey Trust League, Our U19 compete in the Natwest U19 T20 Blast, and colts teams compete in the North East & Central Surrey leagues. We host schools and county festivals and representative cricket matches.
In the winter you would come across our sporting partner – Carshalton FC. Both clubs welcome players of any standard, young and older!. Our objectives are to provide competitive sport at the best amateur levels as well the opportunity for those less competitive, and to foster a positive social experience for players, family & friends and visitors.
Particular people to seek out at the cricket club may be Andrew Tibble (Chairman), Mick Lewis (Cricket Manager), Chris Austin (Club Secretary), Ian Williams (Bar Manager) or Lou Miller (Colts Manager). However whoever you meet, be assured of a warm welcome.
