Cliff Derrick Passes Away (April 22, 2010)
Beddington have heard through long distance member, Stan Woolliscroft that former member Cliff Derrick has passed away 6 short of a century.
 
Cliff was a member at the club from 1948 1975. His son Nick, also a former member at the club who now resides in CHCH NZ, had requested that Stan pass on this news to the Beddington CC.
 
Stan also added his best wishes to the club and all the best for the up coming season. He is hoping to be back in the UK either this summer or in 2011 around the time of Cricket Week.
