Ben Tibble does a Napier...well almost!
(July 15, 2008)Congratulations to youngster Ben Tibble who hit an unbeaten 120 in Sunday's Trust League fixture at Walton on Thames.
Ben has recently come back to Beddington following the end of the hockey season and school exams.
His magnificent know inluded 12 fours and 6 sixes and was from only 87 deliveries.
Beddington went on to win the game. Having posted 268 for 6 from their 40 overs, they then went on to bowl the hosts out for 128 giving them their second massive win of the season in this tournament.
The side had previously mounted a massive 374 for 4 from 40 overs against Effingham, with Ian Messom scoring 115. That day they bowled their opponents out for 99 giving the former champions a 275 run win!
This week, the Beddington Trust League side face Dulwich at home as they look to finish top of the area table.
